I am a very happy Nana. Two and a half year old Lu loves to play on the playground behind her house. The other day, Sarah, Lu’s mommy, reported that Lu made a new friend. It seems there was a five year old little boy that Lu engaged in play. They ran, scooped sand, climbed, swung on the swing and slid down the slide.

When it came time for Lu to go home, the little boy began to cry. His therapist approached my daughter-in-law requesting to set up a play date for the children.

Lu’s engaging cheerful ways helped this little guy to enjoy play! This is a hard task for him as he is diagnoses with Aspergers Syndrome.

I am proud of Lu! Let the play continue!!
