Let’s start a grassroots campaign to make it illegal to have a cell phone in a drivers hand while operating a motor vehicle ( except for emergency personnel ). This ongoing tragic multimillion dollar travesty could totally have been prevented if a young man had not been texting while driving his gigantic truck. This event is not a crime in Az., just a misdemeanor . This in itself is a miscarriage of justice. Many other states require a hands free device to call, and texting is punishable by a hefty fine. No one should cry that it is infringement on anyone’s rights. People do not have the right to drive while impaired by drugs, alcohol , or calling or texting. This young family has had their life altered forever. It’s common sence and simply the right thing to do. No calling or texting while driving.

So true. Well said Joanie! We can start a pledge drive at the very least to get people thinking about what they are doing while driving.
